How to set up MYCURE Kiosk mode in Syncbase

You are here:

1. Setting up kiosk printing in MYCURE:

  • Go to Settings > Registration > Patient Kiosk
  • Scroll down until you have reached Kiosk – Print Settings Check the tickbox to enable kiosk printing

2. Opening your Kiosk in MYCURE:

  • Go to Registration > Displays > Select which kiosk page to open.

3. Setting up Google Chrome’s kiosk mode:

  • Open your Kiosk using MYCURE Syncbase
  • Once the page opens, click the “more options” button on the upper right side of the page. This will open a dropdown for Chrome options.
  • Select “More Tools” and then click “Create Shortcut”.
  • A prompt will appear to rename the shortcut. Click “Create” once renamed. This will directly create a MYCURE shortcut on your desktop.
  • Go to desktop and right click the newly created shortcut and then select “Properties”.
  • Select the “Target” field and then add –kiosk –kiosk-printing “http://{{ip address}}:{{cms port}}”
  • Click “Apply” to save changes.
