This is where users can set up the display that the clinic’s patients will have a first direct interaction with. This refers to the Patient Kiosk where they will first input their basic information to be recognized by the system as well as the Queue Board which informs the patients of their queues.
Steps in Managing Patient Kiosk
To open the kiosk, simply select the queue.
Click “Open Kiosk”.
NOTE: Once the Kiosk is opened, incoming patients can choose if they are a new patient or if they are an existing patient in the clinic.
NOTE: Once they select the new patient option, a privacy notice will appear to inform the patients of their privacy rights. This also acts as an authorization/consent from the patient that their medical records will be digitally processed.
NOTE: Once the patient agrees, the kiosk will be redirected to the registration page wherein the new patient will be asked to input their basic information depending on the enabled fields in the Administrative module, specifically in Registration > Patient Kiosk. Once the patient clicks continue, they will be shown their queue number and be printed if Kiosk printing is enabled in the settings.
NOTE: If the person is an existing patient of the clinic, similar to new patients, they will be asked to input their basic information for the system to recognize them. Once done, they’ll be shown their queue number and be printed if Kiosk printing is enabled in the settings.
NOTE: Using the queue board, patients can now see where they’ll be accommodated for their medical needs and concerns.
