Encounter Management

Encounter management refers firstly to the list of patients who are inside the clinic and have current encounters. Users can view the encounters by filters per staff and status, as well as delete encounters, Read, Update, and Delete queue trail, and end encounter. 

Steps to Manage Encounters:

NOTE: The list of encounters is where users can get a quick overview of the encounters in the clinic. Users can view this per status and per staff. 
  1. To view encounters list by status:
    • Click the field on the upper left side corner
    • A dropdown will appear with the status of All, Not Paid, Fully Paid, Partially Paid, and Covered. 
    • Select desired status to view.
    • The page will automatically show the encounters with the selected status.
  1. To view encounters list by staff name:
    • Click the field on the upper left side corner
    • A dropdown list of clinic staff will appear. 
    • When a staff is selected, the page will automatically show the encounters with the selected staff.
  1. To delete an encounter with no queues:
    • Click the more options icon.
    • Select delete.
    • Confirming deletion.
  1. To CRUD a queue trail:
    • Select the option “View Queue Trail”
    • A prompt will appear showing the queue trail of the selected patient. 
    • Click “more options” icon
      1. Transfer the patient to another queue
      2. Postpone the patient’s encounter
      3. Delete their current queue.
